Selected collector's items from Germany:

KRESSBRONN AM BODENSEE

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Bodenseekreis (until 1973 Tettnang)

Wappen von Kressbronn am Bodensee

Official blazon

In Silber über zwei jeweils mit schwarzen Stielen zusammenhängenden Dreiergruppen schwarzer Kirschen eine dreilatzige golden befranste rote Fahne mit drei goldenen Trageringen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1935 and show the banner of the Counts of Montfort-Tettnang, who ruled the area for many centuries until 1780. To distinguish the arms of the city from those of the family, cherry branches were added in the lower half. The area is known for its cherry orchards.
