Origin/meaning

The arms of Kredenbach were granted on May 27, 1939.

The arms show three diamonds, taken from the aroms of the Lords of Selbazh (zu Lohe), who had their estate in Lohe in the municipality from the 14th until the mid 17th century. The lower part shows a horn, the symbol of the Amt Ferndorf, to which the municipality belonged.
