Arms of Kozlovice (Frýdek-Místek)
Official blazon
Czech Štít dělen modře a červeně, v horní části z dělící čáry vyrůstající stříbrný kozel se zlatou zbrojí, držící zlatou valašku; v dolní části štítu tři stříbrné hroty.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on April 12, 1994.

Kozel in Czech means a he-goat and thus is a canting element. The axe is a typical weapon of the Wallachs who lived in this region guarding the border with Hungary, while the piles are taken from the arms of the Archdiocese of Olomouc to whose estates Kozlovice belonged for several centuries.
