KNUTWIL
Canton : Luzern
Official blazon
- (de) Zweimal geteilt von Rot, Silber und Blau.
Origin/meaning
The meaning of these arms is not known. The oldest known arms date from 1579 when the Vogtei Knutwil within the Luzrn Canton was established. These arms showed St. Stephen, the local patron saint. The current arms appear on the seal of the village from 1724 and have been used since.
