KAMIANSKE (Кам'янське)
Region (Oblast) : Dnipropetrovsk
Ukrainian | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on December 25, 1998.
The right half symbolises the foundation by Cossacks in the 18th century of the three villages Romankovo, Kamyans'ke, Trytyzne, which now form Dniprodzerghynsk. The spears are their arms, the red colour is the colour of the Kodak regiment.
The left side shows the statue of Promethus, build in 1922. The monument symbolises the industrial centre that is the city.
