JONKOWO

Province: Warmia i Mazury
County: Olsztyn

Arms (crest) of Jonkowo

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2002.

The arms show the figure of St. John the Baptist, the patron saint of the parish church in Jonkowo. On the right is a beech tree - a symbol for the Forest Nature Reserve "Stone Mountain", created in the community in order to protect the Pomeranian beech stand.
