JÍLOVIŠTĚ

Province: Středočeský Kraj
District (Okres) : Praha-západ

Arms (crest) of Jíloviště
Official blazon
Czech V zeleném štítě stříbrný kůl, v něm vztyčená přirozená hořící otep dřeva převázaná zlatým provazem.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on November 26, 1999.

The green colour of the field refers to the surrounding forests while the silver bar represents the local road which rises through them in the mountains. The bunch of branches represents the patron of the local church - St. Wenceslas - with the fire further specifying the attribute, taken from the Premyslid eagle.
