In Silber linksgewendet der hl. Georg auf golden gezäumtem, golden gesatteltem schwarzem Ross, eine schwarze Lanze auf den grünen Drachen im Schildfuß richtend. The position of the saint, facing left, is also taken from the old seal.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1903.

The arms show St. George, the local patron saint. The saint appears for the first time on the local seal from the early 19th century.
