Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 22, 1955.
The black pale in gold is taken from the arms of the Von Gadenstedt zu Gadenstedt family 
, lords of the village from 1339-1849.
The bee ('imme' in the North German dialect) is a canting element.
