Official blazon

Escudo ovalado. De azur, castillo de oro acalarado de gules y yelmo de plata puestos en palo. acostados de las letras "F" e "Y" y acolados de un bastón de mando y una espada. Rodeado de una cinta blanca con la leyenda "MUY NOBLE Y LEAL CIUDAD DE HUESCAR" en letras negras. Timbrado con corona real cerrada y dos banderas, una de gules con una cruz y la otra de oro con una media luna.
