Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 7, 1979.

The arms combine elements of the arms of the former rulers of the village. The lion is taken from the arms of the Counts of the Rhine, the balls are taken from the arms of the Lords of Sickingen and the point to the arms of the Von der Leyen family. The arms already appear on 18th century borderstones of the village.
