Schild gespalten, vorne in Grün zwei goldene gekreuzte Hämmer, hinten in Gold ein roter blaubewehrter und -gezungter Löwe.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 15, 1965.
The arms show miner's tools for the stone quarries in the municipality. The lion is the lion of the Counts of the Rhine, to whom the village historically belonged.
