An overview of official heraldic postage stamps.
Restriction : Only postage stamps with full arms in colour and with the arms as the main item or a considerable part of the stamp, will be considered here.
For local (non official) issues, see Heraldic cinderellas. The stamps are listed by country of issue, with the value, description and catalogue number (Michel catalogue only), and a picture whenever available. In some cases other philatelic material (FDC's special issues etc) are added whenever I have an image.
This list will be updated regularly. Not from all stamps images are available yet.
Colonies, old names and individual parts of a country are listed under the modern name or parent country : DDR, Deutsches Reich are under Germany, the individual islands of the Grenadines under Saint Vincent, Southern Rhodesia and Rhodesia under Zimbabwe etc, etc.
