District (Kreis) : Rhein-Hunsrück Kreis (until 1968 Simmern)
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Kirchberg (Hunsrück)

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1997 and show a canting Heckenrose (a species of wild rose). The base shows a pre-historic hill grave with a ring, symbol for the jewellery and other artefacts found in the graves.
