D'argent au lion de gueules accompagné de quatre mouchetures d'hermine de sable ordonnées en croix; vêtu d'azur chargé de quatre soleils non figurés d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on May 11, 1990.

The main part of the arms refer to the Bugey region (which are in red an ermine lion). The four suns refer to the four villages in the municipality: Hauteville, Lompnès, Lacoux and Longecombe.
