HARTKIRCHEN

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Passau (until 1973 Griesbach im Rottal)
Incorporated into : 1971 Pocking

Wappen von Hartkirchen (Pocking)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1936.

The two crossed keys are the symbol of St. Peter, the local patron saint. The oak tree is used as a symbol of justice, as in the town the Court of Griesbach was held for many centuries. The colours are derived from the colours of Bayern.
