HARTBERG UMGEBUNG

State : Steiermark
District : Hartberg

Hartbergu.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on June 5, 1989.

The coat of arms resembles the old arms of the Herren von Stubenberg, the main charge of which was a silver wolf. The linden-leaves were exchanged for vine-leaves, because viticulture has a very long tradition in Eastern Styria.
