HARDENBURG

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Bad Dürkheim
Incorporated into: 1935 Bad Dürkheim

Wappen von Hardenburg/Arms (crest) of Hardenburg
Official blazon
German In Blau unter einem dreilatzigen roten Turnierkragen ein rotbewehrter silberner Adler.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 4, 1907.

The arms are identical to the arms of the former Counts of Leiningen-Hardenburg, who used the eagle of the Leiningen family, and a label as a distinction. The family lived on the local castle for more than 200 years.
