Official blazon

In Blau zwei gekreuzte silberne Schwerter mit goldenem Griff und goldener Parierstange begleitet von vier schwebenden silbernen Balkenkreuzen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1907 and are based on the seal of Oberhadamar, which dates from the 15^th century. Instead of two swords, the seal showed two sceptres. From 1570 these were replaced by short swords. The origin and meaning of the arms is not known.
