Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 27, 1971.

The arms combine elements for the three former municipalities. The red point is taken from the old arms of Haarbach, the branch from the arms of Sachsenhan. The cross is the symbol of St. Andrew, patron saint of Uttlau.

The previous arms were granted on September 23, 1957
