Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 9, 1976.

The arms are based on the old seals of Drevenack and Hünxe. Both show their patron saint holding the arms of the counts of Kleve. The lower part shows the arms of Kleve. The upper part shows the symbols of St. Suitbertus (star) and St. Sebastian (arrow), the patron saints of Drevenack and Hünxe.
