Grossklein.jpg

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 3, 1969.

Important archaeological discoveries have been made in Großklein. The arms depict an urn in a burial mound, on which flowers are growing. The pre-historic burial sites, for which the municipality is famous among archaeologists, date from the Hallstatt era (Bronce Age).
