Official blazon

Zinnenförmig geteilt; oben in Gold ein roter, Schwarz bewehrter, schreitender Löwe, unten in Grün eine silberne Wellenleiste im Schildfuß.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 15, 1982.

The lion and the wall refer to the old name of the village, Leonstein (Lion-stone). The wavy bar refers to the Steyr river, which forms the municipal border for 17 km.
