GLAUBURG

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Wetteraukreis (until 1972 Büdingen)
Additions : 1972 Glauberg, Stockheim

Wappen von Glauburg

Origin/meaning

The arms symbolise the archaeological findings in the Glauberg region. Between 1994-2000 a large royal burial hill from pre-historic Celtic times was uncovered, making the region one of the most interesting archaeological places in Germany.
