Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 9, 1993.

The oak leaf symbolises the oak forests in the area the Schiereiche forests. The glass is a symbol for the glass factory, which existed in the village in the 16th century. The lower half shows a water mill wheel, symbol for the three mills that have existed in the village.
