Origin/meaning

The oldest seals of Geiselhöring are known since 1514. The seal already showed a harrow, a symbol for the importance of agriculture in the area. The first colour image dates from 1565. The chief is known since 1611 and shows the diamonds of Bayern. In the 17th century two angels were also used as supporters.
