Amt : Amt Balve
Incorporated into : 1975 Balve

Wappen von Garbeck/Arms (crest) of Garbeck
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 17, 1967.

The silver and black bars are derived from the arms of the Von Mengede family, who lived in the village in the 17th and 18th century. The three crowns symbolise the patrons of the local church, the three Holy Kings.
