Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1977, but not officially registered.
The upper half shows the arms of the Rani family, who had their estate in the muniipality in medieval times. The lower half shows seven small rings, one for each of the historical parishes, and one large ring, for the new municipality.
