The arms were officially granted on ?
The upper half shows the Götzer Berge, with 110 meter high the highest point in the area. The tower is the landmark tower on the hills.
The lower half refers to the (former) importance of fishing and hunting in the area. Already in prehistoric time reindeer hunters were living in the area.
