FULDATAL
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Kassel
Additions: 1972 Ihringshausen, Knickhagen, Rothwesten, Simmershausen, Wahnhausen, Wilhelmshausen
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 20, 1974.
The wavy bend symbolises the Fulda river and is thus a canting symbol. The six small black lines symbolise the six former municipalities. The two oak leaves symbolise the Reinhardswald forest.
