Fritzens.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on February 10, 1970.

The bear in the upper part of the arms is canting for the local Bärenbach (bear-brook). The base shows a prehistoric urn, as the municipality is one of the places where prehistoric artefacts of the Fritzens-Sanzeno Culture can be found.
