Official blason

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted around 2000.

The arms show the local dolmen (prehistoric monument), after which the village is also partially named. The red lion is taken form the arms of the Lords of the Olhain castle and estate in the village, the Berghes-Saint-Winoc family. They owned the estate from the 15th century.

In 1996 it was proposed to quarter the dolmen with the family arms (see image below), but the municipality adopted different arms.

I have no information on the origin or meaning of the lower part of the arms.
