State : Oberösterreich
District : Schärding

Wappen von Freinberg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 16, 1977.

The leopard is the symbol of St. Willibaldus, patron saint of the local church. The lower half shows the symbol used by the sword factory Santler on the Haibach river. The river is also symbolised by the division line.
