FISCHBACH

Fischbach-lux.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on November 21, 1983

The arms are based on the arms of the Fischbach family. The family used instead of a crown a cross between the (canting) fish. The crown was added as a symbol for the Grand-Ducal family, who own the local castle. Grand-Duchess Charlotte lived for many years in the castle during this century.
