Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on October 14, 1993.

The first and fourth quarters show the arms of the Chissé family, former lords of the village. The second and third quarter refer to an (archaeological) find made in 1900 in the territory of the municipality. The chief shows the cross of Savoy.
