În câmp roșu se află doi lei rampanți, susținând o roată, totul de aur. În câmp albastru se află o acvilă bicefală argintie. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint, cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.

The arms are a combination of the arms of two families that played a large role in the local history, the Filipescu (upper half) and Cantacuzino (lower half) families.
