Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 22, 1954.
The four horseshoes symbolise the four sub-municipalities (Bauerschäfte) of Isernhagen. The horseshoes are a symbol for the presence of iron in the area, as well as for the importance of horse breeding in the area. The wheatear is a symbol of agriculture.
