În prima parte, pe fond albastru, trei frunze, două de fag, interpuse de una de castan, toate de aur. În partea a doua, pe fond roșu, o troiță de argint însoțită de trei brâuri ondulate, din același metal. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint, formată din trei turnuri crenelate.

The arms were granted on September 27, 1999.

The beach leaves (Fagus sp.) are a canting element, the chestnut is a very common tree in the town. The lower half refers to the Bega and other rivers in the municipality and the cross is a local Orthodox cross which symbolises the strong faith of the population, even in hard times.
