Origin/meaning

The elongated triangle resulting from the partition expresses by its shape and its blue (azure) color of the Estuary cutting into the region. The economic wealth of this region is indicated by the metal (gold).

The silver billets symbolize the okoumé logs on the waters of the Estuary.
