Selected collector's items from Germany:

ERGERSHEIM

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim(until 1973 Uffenheim)
Additions : 1973 Ermetzhofen, Neuherberg, Seenheim

Wappen von Ergersheim (Mittelfranken)

Official blazon

(de) Geviert von Silber und Schwarz; in 1: ein durchgehendes schwarzes Tatzenkreuz, belegt mit einem silbernen Lilienkreuz mit goldenen Lilien, in 4: ein achtspitziges rotes Kreuz.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 26, 1984.

The quartering is derived from the arms of the Hohenzollern family, Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach, who historically ruled the area. The two crosses represent the two Orders who had large estates and possessions in the municipality; the Teutonic Order (upper cross) and the Knights of St. John (lower cross).
