Selected collector's items from Germany:

EMSTEK

State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Cloppenburg

Wappen von Emstek

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 30, 1969.

The arms are based on a seal dating from 1578 of the regional Desum court or Gogericht, which was held in the town. The church is the church of Vechta, the trees are a linden tree, symbol of justice, and a hawthorn. The ball on a chain is a Desum-Knop, I have no idea what it means.

The colours are the colours of the Counts of Vechta-Ravensberg, to which the area historically belonged.
