  • Wapen: In blou, regs 'n tandrat em links 'n wawiel, alles goud, in die skildvoet vergesel van 'n versmalde golwende dwarsbalk van silwer en op 'n hoekige skildhoof van goud twee geknotte merlette van swart.
  • Helmteken: 'n Uitkomende leeu van silwer, getong en genael van rooi, in die kloue 'n rooi vaandel belaai met twee skuinsgekruiste palmtakke van goud.
  • Wrong en Dekklede: Goud en blou.
  • Wapenspreuk: PROGRESSUS

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 3, 1969 to Ladysmith and continued by the new municipality.
