Über von Rot und Gold geschachtem Schildfuß in Silber eine schwarze Tanne.

Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on ??-??-1928.

The arms were designed in 1927/28 by the State Archives. The base refers to the Zavelstein estate, to which the village historically belonged. The pine tree refers to the many forests in the municipality as well as the importance of forestry at the time.
