Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 25, 2004.

Eforie is the oldest resort on the Romanian coast, the elements in the coat of arms highlighting the seaside resort and treatment character.

The main activity and source of income is tourism.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
