Incorporated into: 1962 Frogn

Arms (crest) of Drøbak
Official blazon

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms are found on the organ in the local church and actually belong to the Danish biologist O. F. Müller (1730-1784) and his wife Anna Paludan (1735-1787). The first quarter shows a vine leaf, symbol for his profession. The fourth quarter shows some balls, also some symbol for biology. The second and third quarter show the arms of the Paludan family. Anna Paludan previously was married with a merchant from Drøbak and the after her death many of her possessions went to the Drøbak council.
