German In silbernem Schild zwei schrägrechte blaue Wellenbalken, darüber eine schwarze Hirschstange.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 15, 1970.

The two wavy bends symbolise the two main rivers in the municipality, the Weissach and the Rotach. The deer antler refers to the forests and the rich nature.

The arms were chosen from a number of designs commissioned to Konrad Honold. He made 13 designs, see below, and the final arms were based on one of the designs (which had the antler also in blue).
