Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 12, 1952.

The base shows the Gelben Berg (golden mountain) in the municipality. The two pine trees refer to the local forests and the small shield shows the quartered arms of the Margraves of Ansbach to whom the are historically belonged..
