Selected collector's items from Germany:

DIEDESFELD

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
Urban district (Stadtkreis) : Neustadt an der Weinstrasse
Incorporated into : 1969 Neustadt an der Weinstrasse

Wappen von Diedesfeld/Arms (crest) of Diedesfeld
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 19, 1844.

The exact meaning of the arms is not known, but the horseshoe has been used as a village symbol since 1712. Later the symbol appeared on the local seal and was granted in 1944 in heraldically wrong colours (red and black may not be used in combination, but should be separated by silver or gold).
