Incorporated into : 1972 Hofheim am Taunus

Wappen von Diedenbergen

Official blazon

(de)

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 21, 1971.

The arms show a wolf's-hook, a typical village sign, which was used on the local borderstones and which was officially indicate as village sign in the 18th century, in combination with the lion of Hessen.

In 1956 the arms below were proposed and only showed the historical symbol. The village used the wolf's hook in its seals until 1971, but the proposal from 1956 was never approved.
