Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat. În partea superioară se află un câmp parchetat de aur, îmbinat central în motivul bradului. În vârful scutului, în partea dreaptă, în câmp albastru, se află o carte deschisă, de aur. În vârful scutului, în partea stângă, în câmp roșu, se află un corn de berbec, de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 10, 2012.
The chief represents the forest and richness of the area, part of the Natural Reserve "Toplița-Deda Gorge".
The book symbolizes the personalities of the culture that linked their names to these lands.
The ram's horn represents the tradition of shepherding, being at the same time a symbol of local culture.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
